Tutor, Trainer, Practitioner …I have been teaching stress management, public speaking, work-life balance, motivation and relaxation for groups and individuals for 25 years. I decided to specialise in Stress Management after working in private practice and identifying that people needed simple, practical tools and techniques for stress management and public speaking to achieve a better work-life balance. I trained in complementary health therapies: Therapeutic, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage; Aromatherapy, Swiss Reflex Therapy, Health Care and Well-being and Stress Management. Prior to this I spent many years teaching Communication and Presentation Skills, Voice Coaching and dynamic Breathing and Relaxation Techniques and, in what now seems another life, Theatre, Comedy, Performance and Public Speaking. I am an accredited member of the Stress Coaching Association, a Full Practitioner member of the Complementary Medical Association and a member of British Actors Equity.

My Aims:  As a tutor, trainer, practitioner, my  aim remains, to teach practical tools and techniques that are easy to master, simple to apply to everyday-life and which can help you achieve realistic results and positive, lasting change.

My Approach: I believe learning should be fun as well as informative and training should be delivered with warmth and compassion so I take care to build trust and a supportive workshop atmosphere. I draw on my wide skills-set and experience of working with diverse groups and individuals from all walks of life, including those suffering anxiety, depression and stress-related problems. I use a mixed approach, matching methods, tools and techniques to the needs of each group or individual. Sessions may include breathing, relaxation and visualisation work, stress management techniques, identifying blocks and achieving optimum well-being and work-life balance.

WORKSHOPS (that work!): I now periodically run workshops in and around London, on Stress Management, Mindfulness and Presentation Skills.  No special skills are required, the workshops are open to all, and I always take care to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported. You can work at your own pace and plenty of time is given to mastering simple, but powerful tools and techniques. Additionally, I can provide workshops for small groups, social clubs and community organisations – just contact me for a chat about your requirements.

INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS IN HARROW, HENDON & HAMPSTEAD: I offer one-to-one sessions and stress management sessions (face-to-face, telephone or Skype) ~ please contact me for further details. (I do work in places that don’t begin with an ‘H’ ! )

TRAINING: I also work with Charities and Health and Social Care organisations providing clients with bespoke training together with Caring for the Carer, Stress Management and Presentation and Communication Skills sessions.  I have contributed to stress management and wellbeing articles and interviews in national newspapers, magazines and radio and appeared on Lorraine Live and the Esther Rantzen show.
